Also, while showering, I figured that most of my readers (all two of you) would have stopped checking up on this untended site, and have now left for greener literary pastures (such as the Huffington Post, Blogs about cats, blogs about cute animals wearing hats and most likely YouTubes).
I am also about to finish a book that I have been reading for far to long called Delighting in The Trinity by Tim Chester. There really is a good chance that I mentioned this book several months ago; no it has not taken several months to read, but yes it has taken several months to get to and then a few weeks to read. The worst part about this whole thing is not the book itself, but the fact that it has taken me so long to read 186 pages. Usually when I have a problem reading, I take a break from real literature and pop open a Harry Potter book. I finished the second to last one (Half-Blood Prince?) but have been unable to carry over my ocular zest into Chester's book. The book itself is pretty good (beyond some sloppy editorial work) it follows an arrangement that I think all light/pop theology books should follow for a format. I'll save that insight for another post.
Derek
PS - Sorry for the abruptness of this post, also for the lack of any form of editing.
